Eggedal Borgerstue
Eggedal Borgerstue is a family-run hotel with 16 unique rooms, run by Elisabeth Koren Bøle – third generation. Since the beginning, food has been an important part of the operation, both for hotel guests, locals and travelers who stop by for a good home-cooked meal.
Our café serves food made from scratch, using local ingredients when possible and according to the season. The menu changes throughout the year, and you will find both simple lunch dishes and our own signature dishes – such as the popular Madonnaburger. Here you can eat in the café, in the pavilion when it is open, in one of our cozy dining rooms, or enjoy the view from the patio which has several comfortable seating areas.
You won't leave here hungry.

When the pavilion is open, it is one of the nicest places to enjoy a good bite to eat in Eggedal. Time stands still and there is something reverent about the meal.

Outdoor Areas
Several seating areas and views of the village – perfect on sunny days. Outside the hotel you’ll find cozy spots, a large terrace with mountain views, and lovely lookout points around the pavilion.

Temptations for every taste
Our menu offers both familiar dishes and little surprises, with something for every taste. We also have vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free options – so everyone can join in the fun. And for those who like something sweet, we can tempt you with irresistible desserts, including our popular waffle with vanilla ice cream, blueberry jam and caramel sauce. And when your stomach is satisfied, you can round off your meal with a look at the coffee menu.

Opening hours
Our opening hours apply to both the café and Borgerstua's general store, so you can easily plan a visit for lunch, coffee or a pleasant shopping trip with local goods.
Monday to Saturday: 10 am - 9 pm
Sunday : 1 pm - 8 pm (dinner to 7:30pm)
