Experiences and Activities in Sigdal

Eggedal sits in the heart of Kunstnerdalen, surrounded by mountains and beautiful Norwegian nature – a perfect stop on the way to Haglebu or Hallingdal, with a Vinmonopol, 24‑hour grocery store, petrol station, antiques shop, sports store, and several other useful local services.

The village offers wonderful experiences and hiking opportunities such as the Madonnastien trail, miles of cross‑country ski tracks, and cultural gems like Chr. Skredsvig’s Hagan. Only 2.5 hours from Oslo.

Jørn Hoel is coming to Eggedal on Saturday, 26 September! This evening, Jørn takes over the kitchen at Borgerstua and serves his brand‑new autumn menu inspired by the mountains. You’ll enjoy a delicious three‑course dinner, music between the dishes, and stories from a long life on the road – all in the down‑to‑earth style he’s known for.

Bring family and friends – this will be an evening filled with good foodand plenty of laughter. Aperitif from 18:00.
