THE PAVILLION
A PLACE TO MEET WITH OLD ROOTS
The pavillion was completed in 2025 and has already become one of the most popular meeting places in the village. Here we host everything from pizza nights in our wood-fired oven to small pop-up bakeries and theme nights, and many people have also rented the house for private celebrations and corporate gatherings.
Although the building is new, it carries with it history:
The hotel's owner, Elisabeth, loves historic buildings and has long dreamed of having her own gazebo in the old style. With the help of Sans Design and skilled carpenters at Bøle Bygg, the dream came true. Bricks from Gunnerud farm in Båsheim and old windows from Borgerstua's second floor formed the basis for both the expression and the facade.
The furniture from a bygone era, each with its own story, imagine if they could talk...
Time really stands still here.
a house for small and big moments

Pizza Nights
Our wood-fired oven brings people together around warmth, smells and great flavours. Pizza nights in the pavillion have become a regular highlight – an informal meeting place where conversation flows and new memories are made.

Pop-up Bakery and Fresh Pastries
When we open the pop-up bakery, the gazebo is filled with the aroma of fresh pastries and local produce. A little taste of the countryside – served in a space that makes people happy.

Private Celebrations
The Pavillion has become a natural choice for intimate celebrations and smaller parties. A warm and personal space with capacity for around 35 guests – and so far we have only received one type of feedback: that people really enjoy themselves here!

Gatherings and Meetings
For companies that want peace, focus and a different meeting place, the gazebo is ideal. Here, small groups can work undisturbed – with nature right outside the door.

Historical details and Thoughtful Reuse
Although the gazebo is new, it carries history with it. The windows are over a hundred years old and were taken from a nearby farm, and the bricks also come from the local environment. A space built on tradition and craftsmanship.

Quiet Moments and Everyday Magic
Sometimes it's the quiet moments that matter the most. A cup of coffee, a book, the view of the village. The gazebo is both a good place to work – and a nice room to test new dishes in. There's also a patio. :)
