Mountain food, songs and stories at Borgerstua with Jørn Hoel!

On Saturday, September 26th, we open the doors at Eggedal Borgerstue for an evening completely out of the ordinary. Jørn Hoel takes over the kitchen and creates his brand new autumn menu inspired by the mountains – here, good ingredients and genuine culinary delights are the order of the day.

The evening starts with an aperitif at 6 pm, before you can look forward to a lovely 3-course autumn dinner. Between courses, Jørn takes out his guitar and shares some of his most famous songs, along with juicy robbery stories collected from a long career on the road.

Join us for an evening of really good food, wonderful music, humor and lots of laughter.

About Jørn's cooking

Jørn Hoel is not only known from the stage – he has also made a name for himself as a chef. Through several cookbooks and TV shows, he has shared his no-nonsense approach to cooking, where good ingredients and authentic flavors always come first.

He is known for his popular lutefisk evenings, but no matter what he cooks, it is about preserving traditions and letting the food tell its own story – just like he does with his music. Jørn also has a good knowledge of wine, and is happy to share his best recommendations for the dishes you are served.

• We are offering 40 tickets for this evening, so it's important to get there early.

• Included in the price you will receive an aperitif, a delicious 3-course dinner and an evening of songs and stories from Jørn himself.

• This evening we are serving a fixed menu put together by Jørn, and unfortunately we are unable to offer other choices or adjustments along the way.
